Spectacle

​​Born in 1992 in Washington DC, United States of America,  Julia is currently located in Grenoble France. Starting with theater, music, and dance all little Julia wanted to do was express herself on stage.  She studied theater and art from a young age. Julia began performing in the circus during her masters degree in Baltimore, Maryland. Cocreating her first company SUSPENDED CITIZENS an aerialist troop. She then moved to San Francisco California where her circus performance continued to grow, performing in several shows across California including MANARCHY and HUBBA HUBBA. She also began teaching aerial hoop 2017-2019. In 2019 she moved to Grenoble France and attended a 2 year professional circus school VITANIM ECOLE DU CIRQUE. There she developed a polyvalent approach to performance and fell in love with clown. Julia has worked as a burlesque performer with the company SPEKTRA in Nimes from 2022-2024. Today Julia works with Oriane co creating LES SANTIANA they created AU BORD DE L'ADVENTURE a show that combines her love of adventure and pirates with the joy of clowning and burlesque. Additionally, Julia works on individual projects including CEDRIC IL EST MAGIC (solo clown/magic show), lead singer with CAKE EMPIRE, and working with the COLLECTIVE LA FLEMME.
